Enabled under the Broadway Plan, Kits East will replace an existing, aging 35-unit apartment building with a 100% purpose built 20-storey rental tower featuring 183 units, of which 35 will be below market rental units. The project will feature a full 21^st storey indoor and outdoor amenity space boasting spectacular views of the North shore mountains and downtown Vancouver as well as a ground level indoor and outdoor fitness & child’s play area.

Kits East is located at 1960 W7th Avenue in the vibrant Kitsilano community and is minutes away from future Arbutus Skytrain station, West 4^th avenue, the revitalized Broadway corridor, and the Arbutus Greenway. Future residents will be able to enjoy the leafy streetscape Kitsilano offers while being closely situated to multiple transit hubs providing access across Vancouver.  

The Project embodies the foundational principles of a thriving, inclusive, and sustainable urban ecosystem. It appreciates the vital interplay of diverse uses and builds upon the existing city fabric, while ensuring that the benefits of densification are equitably distributed. The massing form parti consists of two volumes: podium and tower.  As a mid-block site, the massing intends with the podium to create the defined edge of the new public realm along W7th.  The tower form expressed through a contrast in colour from the sky and the usual mundane monochrome beige seen in many existing buildings in the area.
