Block 22 is Gracorp’s newest project site in Calgary fastest growing urban neighbourhood University District. The vision for Block 22’s 2-Acre site is an amenity-rich building bought together via a connecting bridge design that cascades down towards Central Commons Park. Block 22 is a 12-storey concrete tower, 2 levels of secured underground parking that terraces down toward Central Commons Park with enhanced architectural features and structural rhythm. The 330-unit building is designed to exceed NECB energy and greenhouse gas emissions by 25%. Block 22 will be a fully furnished building that will introduce a new product to the University District market that is currently underserved.
