Currently the Executive Vice President, Finance and Chief Financial Officer of Graham and President of Gracorp Capital Advisors, Tim brings nearly 30 years of experience in major project development, team building, strategic planning, private equity, business development and corporate finance. Tim is also a founding Director of the Connor Clark & Lunn GVest Traditional Infrastructure LP and the GVest Private Equity LP. Tim has served on numerous private company boards, including roles as chair, and on audit and compensation committees. Tim also has investment and commercial banking experience.
Bruce has over 25 years of experience in real estate development, corporate finance, large transaction management, investment management, and operations. Bruce is the Vice President of investments for Graham and is responsible for Gracorp’s real estate development and asset management portfolio. Before joining Gracorp in 2014, Bruce was an executive with a Canadian gaming and hospitality company. Bruce also has experience in investment banking with a Canadian bank and in finance and accounting with an international accounting firm.
Based in Vancouver, Jake McEwan lead’s Gracorp’s real estate development activities in British Columbia where he is responsible for sourcing, structuring, financing, developing and marketing projects across various asset classes.
Jake is an accomplished real estate executive, with over 16 years of experience in both government and the private sector. Prior to joining Gracorp, Jake has held several high profile positions including being the founding President & CFO of an American real estate development & construction company based in Los Angeles.
Jake has lead the development of over 20 projects and 15M SF of development across B.C.
Joe is based in Seattle and has over 15 years of experience in the real estate industry. He leads Gracorp’s real estate development activities in the northwest region of the United States where he is responsible for deal structuring, acquisitions, developments, financing and fund management.
Prior to joining Gracorp in 2018, Joe worked as an Acquisition Manager at a Seattle based alternative asset manager with over $1 billion in real estate AUM. He has also held positions as a Portfolio Manager where he underwrote, restructured and managed over $600 million in credit lending facilities. Joe has extensive acquisition, contract negotiation and fund management experience through his involvement in the development, repositioning and management of numerous multi-family, senior housing, industrial, self-storage, hospitality and office properties throughout the United States.
Based in Calgary, Novy leads Gracorp’s real estate development activities in Alberta and the Prairies where he is responsible for sourcing, structuring, financing and developing projects across various asset classes.
Novy has over 10 years of experience in real estate development, corporate financing, corporate structuring and real estate law. Prior to joining Gracorp, Novy practiced commercial real estate law at an international law firm and worked as in-house legal counsel for a Calgary based developer with asset located thorough Western Canada and the southern US. Novy has extensive experience in real estate acquisitions, contract negotiation, debt and equity financing, corporate structuring and dispositions. Novy has played an integral role in the successful acquisition, financing and disposition of projects valued in excess of $1.0B, including high-rise office, high and mid-rise residential, mixed-use buildings and industrial warehouses.
Derek sources and manages the equity and debt for all of Gracorp’s income producing and new development assets.
Derek’s background is in Corporate Banking where he spent 10 years working with a leading Canadian financial institution lending to a diverse industry base. Prior to joining Gracorp, Derek managed the risk and sought new lending opportunities for a $2bn portfolio which included real estate development, real estate hospitality and seniors care.
As the Director, Real Estate Finance, Nick’s primary responsibilities include accounting, tax, and treasury operations for private equity funds, real estate developments and income-producing properties.
Prior to Gracorp, Nick held the role of Manager, Corporate Planning & Analysis for the Graham Group, with responsibilities for capital planning, budgeting/forecasting, executive reporting and corporate reporting. Nick has expertise in real estate, construction and utilities.
