We are an agile real estate development team within a large, reputable construction company and are looking for passionate, creative team members to add to our growing team. As part of a fully integrated organization, we manage every aspect of the real estate development process, from planning to property management.

Bruce has over 25 years of experience in real estate development, corporate finance, large transaction management, investment management, and operations. Bruce is the Vice President of investments for Graham and is responsible for Gracorp’s real estate development and asset management portfolio. Before joining Gracorp in 2014, Bruce was an executive with a Canadian gaming and hospitality company. Bruce also has experience in investment banking with a Canadian bank and in finance and accounting with an international accounting firm.

Based in Vancouver, Jake McEwan lead’s Gracorp’s real estate development activities in British Columbia where he is responsible for sourcing, structuring, financing, developing and marketing projects across various asset classes.

Jake is an accomplished real estate executive, with over 16 years of experience in both  government and the private sector.  Prior to joining Gracorp, Jake was the CEO of Keltic Development, where he lead the company to become the second largest developer in British Columbia by total sales volume during 2018 & 2019. He also secured over $600M in debt financing from Tier 1 lenders and lead a development program worth over $1.3 billion.  Prior to Keltic, Jake held several high profile positions including being the founding President & CFO of Aquilini America Group, a real estate development & construction company based in Los Angeles. Jake was also previously the SVP of Aquilini Development and Construction, where he lead  the development of over 20 projects and 15M SF of development across B.C. Jake also worked in senior capacities at Concord Pacific & Intracorp Projects. At Intracorp Jake lead the development of the MC2 & Metroplace projects, both winners of major design awards.

Jake is an Action Canada Fellow and a former senior advisor in the Gordon Campbell B.C government. Jake has a BA from the University of Victoria and is a former Red Mountain Ski Racer from Rossland B.C.  Jake’s spends his off time mainly with his 200lb Great Dane and his wonderful wife and daughter.

Joe is based in Seattle and has over 15 years of experience in the real estate industry. He leads Gracorp’s real estate development activities in the northwest region of the United States where he is responsible for deal structuring, acquisitions, developments, financing and fund management.

Prior to joining Gracorp in 2018, Joe worked as an Acquisition Manager at Columbia Pacific Advisors, a Seattle based alternative asset manager with over $1 billion in real estate AUM. He has also held positions as a Portfolio Manager with Bank of America’s Commercial Real Estate Banking group where he underwrote, restructured and managed over $600 million in credit lending facilities and as an Equity Sales Associate at GE Capital Real Estate. Joe has extensive acquisition, contract negotiation and fund management experience through his involvement in the development, repositioning and management of numerous multi-family, senior housing, industrial, self-storage, hospitality and office properties throughout the United States.

Joe earned his degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Finance from Western Washington University and is a Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM).

Based in Calgary, Novy leads Gracorp’s real estate development activities in Alberta and the Prairies where he is responsible for sourcing, structuring, financing and developing projects across various asset classes.

Novy has over 10 years of experience in real estate development, corporate financing, corporate structuring and real estate law. Prior to joining Gracorp, Novy practiced commercial real estate law at an international law firm and worked as in-house legal counsel for a Calgary based developer with asset located thorough Western Canada and the southern US. Novy has extensive experience in real estate acquisitions, contract negotiation, debt and equity financing, corporate structuring and dispositions. Novy has played an integral role in the successful acquisition, financing and disposition of projects valued in excess of $1.0B, including high-rise office, high and mid-rise residential, mixed-use buildings and industrial warehouses.

Novy earned a Bachelor of Commerce degree with an emphasis in finance from the University of Calgary and a Bachelor of Law degree from the University of Alberta. Outside of work, Novy enjoys playing and coaching hockey and spending time outdoors with his wife and his two boys.

Brad possesses over 20 years of experience in commercial real estate investment, finance and development. Brad has been directly involved in the acquisition, financing, operation and successful sale of over $850,000,000 of real estate assets located in major and secondary markets across Canada and select markets in the United States. These real estate investments have included office, industrial, retail, land and multi-family properties of varying scale and scope. In addition to possessing acquisition and asset management capabilities, Brad is instrumental in the formation and establishment of each project’s capital stack including debt and equity. Brad graduated from Simon Fraser University with a Master of Business Administration (Finance, Strategy) and a Bachelor of Business Administration (Finance, Economics).

Ryan has more than 14 years of experience as an engineer and project manager in the real estate and municipal infrastructure sectors. Ryan began his career as an engineering trainee for Wollongong City Council in his Australian hometown. He worked in all areas of the local government including design, construction, city planning, and development assessment. In 2014, Ryan transitioned into development management, applying his knowledge to the real estate sector and managing award-winning master planned communities for Sheargold along the Australian eastern seaboard.

In 2018, Ryan moved to Vancouver to expand his real estate experience and he now leads several of Gracorp’s residential, retail, industrial, and mixed-use projects from acquisition through to entitlement and construction. Ryan has a Master of Engineering Management from the University of Technology Sydney and a Bachelor of Engineering – Civil & Structural Major from the University of Wollongong.

On weekends, you can find Ryan on an outdoor adventure somewhere in North America. He enjoys travel, coffee, cooking, hiking, triathlons, splitboarding, and most endurance sports. Ryan loves working with people to solve problems and overcome challenges as a team – inside and outside the office.

Based in Calgary as a Design Manager, Devin Dyler works collaboratively with Gracorp’s stakeholders to manage the design process for new and existing real estate projects. Devin works closely with architects, consultants, interior designers, general contractors, marketing, sales and Gracorp’s team members to successfully manage our projects through the design development phase to completion.

Devin has over 17 years of experience in design, architecture and construction. Before joining Gracorp, he was the Product Development and Design Manager with Brookfield Residential where his primary responsibility was managing and overseeing designers, consultants and architects and pursuing innovative new land uses and built forms. Devin holds an Architectural Diploma and Certified Associate in Project Management from SAIT and attended the Bachelor of Engineering program at Mount Royal.

When he’s not at work, Devin can be found in Southern BC camping and golfing with his family. During the winter months, he is a full-time Uber driver for his kids while he counts down the days until the golf season.

Rob is a Development Manager based in Seattle and has over 18 years of experience building mixed use residential and infrastructure projects. He provides planning and oversight of existing projects in all phases of development.

Prior to joining Gracorp in 2020, Rob was a Senior Project Manager with Graham. He has also held construction management and engineering positions with Mill Creek Residential and Balfour Beatty Infrastructure.

Rob holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Santa Clara University and a Master of Science in Construction Management from the University of Washington.

Nick has over 12 years of finance and accounting expertise and is responsible for the Calgary-based accounting and finance team. Prior to joining Gracorp, Nick was the Manager, Corporate Planning & Analysis for the Graham Group and played a key role in the development and continuous improvement of planning, analysis and reporting. In addition to real estate, private equity and construction, he has expertise in utilities and mining.

Nick is a CPA and a CMA and holds a Bachelor of Management (Accounting) from the University of Lethbridge.

Outside of work, Nick enjoys spending time with family, golfing and fishing.

Curtis is based in Calgary and serves as a key point of contact for Gracorp’s current and prospective investors. He oversees the company’s regulatory requirements as the Chief Compliance Officer and actively manages Gracorp’s capital funding and strategic investor relations programs.

Curtis has over 10 years of capital markets, corporate communications, and regulatory compliance experience across a broad range of industries. He holds a Bachelor of Applied Communications – Public Relations Degree and a Technical Writing Certificate from Mount Royal University and is a CFA Level I candidate. In his spare time, Curtis enjoys playing recreational hockey and hiking in the Alberta Rockies with his family and two dogs.

Based in Calgary, Dale is a Development Manager who works collaboratively with Gracorp’s stakeholders to manage the design and construction of current projects from due diligence and budget controls to change management and project close. Prior to joining Gracorp, Dale worked with Graham Construction for over 15 years as a Journeyman Carpenter and Superintendent. Dale has a wealth of knowledge and experience in construction and design that gained from 28 years of field experience. He has played a key role in the successful completion of a variety of projects valued in excess of $1.5B, including high-rise residential, university campuses, hospitals, retail box stores, multi-use buildings, warehouses and many other challenging developments.

Outside of work, Dale can be found cheering on his two children in their prospective ice sports, working out in the gym and riding his mountain bike in Kananaskis.

Brendan is a Development Coordinator based in Gracorp’s Calgary office. He works directly with the development team to support the successful execution of current projects by reviewing project documentation, coordinating changes, and monitoring construction quality, schedules and costs. Prior to joining Gracorp, Brendan spent 17 years in the commercial construction industry in Calgary as a site superintendent and then a project manager. Through that time, Brendan developed a strong background in project advancement, while meeting tight timelines and strict budget targets. Brendan has a BA from the University of Lethbridge and a Project Management Certificate from Mount Royal University. Outside of work, Brendan enjoys spending time being active in the outdoors with his wife and three children.

Reed is based in Calgary and oversees the pro forma development process for prospective projects, updates and maintains pro formas during the development phase, and supports the execution of asset sales. Prior to joining Gracorp, Reed was a consultant at Urban Analytics where he tracked the Calgary rental market. Reed has also worked with Enright Capital, a local developer, asset and property management firm in a variety of roles related to the development and leasing of properties.

Reed holds a BCom and a Certificate in Real Estate from the University of Alberta and he is currently a CFA Level II Candidate.

In his spare time, Reed enjoys staying active by competing in hockey and squash and spending time in Fernie skiing, biking and playing cards.

Based in Calgary, Shannon has worked with Gracorp since 2014. As Development Coordinator, she works closely with Gracorp’s project teams to source and evaluate new real estate development opportunities and execute current projects. Her responsibilities include due diligence; document control; stakeholder relations; design, engineering, consulting and construction oversight; change order process management; financing administration; budget coordination; and project marketing.

Prior to joining Gracorp, Shannon provided executive administrative support for Graham Group’s C-suite, Investor Relations team and senior leaders of the Development and Strategic Investment division.

Shannon brings a wealth of knowledge and experience in administration from a variety of business settings and provides strong organizational support for the company and its valued clients and investors. Visit Shannon’s LinkedIn page for more details on her current role and career history.

Outside of work, Shannon enjoys cooking, hiking, camping and spending time with her husband and three daughters.

Ritchell is based in Gracorp’s Calgary office where she provides project accounting and financial reporting expertise. She is an exempt market dealer and possesses extensive experience in financial reporting. Prior to joining Gracorp in 2014, Ritchell worked in accounting firms auditing clients in various industries.

Ritchell is a CPA, CA and holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting).

Ridgeline is based in Gracorp’s Calgary office. She works with the finance team to support Gracorp’s project accounting and deliverables for the investment and project portfolios. Prior to joining Gracorp in 2017, Ridgeline worked with Graham Group’s Treasury Department for four years. During this term she was directly involved in a corporate wide SAP implementation project designed to enhance Graham’s treasury processes and reporting platforms.

Ridgeline has more than 10 years of international accounting experience and earned a professional accounting designation with CGA Alberta in 2016 and treasury certification with Association for Finance Professionals in 2019.

Jarrett works in the Calgary office as part of the finance and accounting team. He previously worked at PwC in their external audit and assurance practice focusing on private companies in the construction, real estate and asset management industries.

Jarrett is a CPA and has a Bachelor of Business Administration from Acadia University. Since moving to Calgary, he has taken up skiing and enjoys spending time in the mountains.

Based in the Vancouver office, Darshan has worked with Gracorp since 2019. As an Executive Assistant, she works closely with the Vice President and provides strong organizational and executive administrative support for the company and its valued clients and investors.

Darshan has over 20 years of experience providing support to teams in the design industry and within the municipal government.

Outside of work, Darshan enjoys cooking, hiking and spending time with her husband and two children.
