Gracorp is a co-development partner in several large residential and commercial real estate assets located in southwest Edmonton.

The assets are being developed in partnership with Cameron Development Corporation and Harvard Developments. The diverse portfolio of assets includes the Currents of Windermere shopping centre, Windermere Crossing shopping centre, Currents Pointe commercial site, Shoppes at Windermere South retail development and several residential subdivisions.

Currents of Windermere is a 106-acre shopping centre that is considered one of Edmonton’s largest shopping centres with approximately 1.2 million sq. ft. of retail, office and residential space when fully built out. Anchored by Home Depot, Walmart, Cabela’s and Canadian Tire, the centre is Edmonton’s finest new shopping destination. Serving the growing urban-inspired suburb of Windermere, Currents of Windermere is conveniently located just off Anthony Henday and Terwillegar Drive.

Windermere Crossing is a 20-acre shopping centre adjacent to the Currents of Windermere with a gross leasable area of 196,000 square feet. The centre also serves the growing development of Windermere and its thriving communities. Located in one of Edmonton’s most affluent areas, Windermere Crossing is anchored by the Real Canadian Superstore and boasts a wide variety of contemporary casual and quick service dining options.

Currents Pointe is a 7-acre commercial site located adjacent to the Currents of Windermere that is under development and will benefit from the busy neighbouring shopping centre and convenient access to Anthony Henday Drive.

The Shoppes at Windermere South is a 15-acre commercial development located in the affluent and rapidly growing neighbourhood of Windermere South. Located at the high traffic corner of Ellerslie Road and 170 St., this upcoming retail development will offer 130,000 sq. ft. of leasable area and currently features a 20,000 sq. ft. day care and a 10,000 sq. ft. multi-bay retail building.

Development of the 518 acres of residential lands began development in 2005, and all the lots are now sold. The thriving residential subdivisions of Windermere North, Windermere South, Ambleside I and Ambleside II are coveted communities in a growing area of Edmonton
